Whew...only a few more days to get all the projects done, wrapped and ready for gift giving!
For everyone out there like me...well the days slip by and I never get the projects all started let alone finished in time for Christmas. A few make it under the tree but most are filed in my memory for next year...yep, next year I will start really, really early...I promise....and then around December 20th I run out of time again!
This little card-igan takes only an hour or so and somehow fulfills that "I really need to give this person something I made" agenda all crafty people have. Slip a favorite craft store gift card inside...and voila...the perfect last minute, yes I did make that, gift!!!
I found the pattern here while surfing Ravelry and by golly - got out my needles and finished one in no time! The tiny cable is super easy and once the gift card is removed it can make a cute carrier for lip gloss or chapstick, a little cash, attach it to a keychain or serves as a home for a little sewing kit....
Picture from the blogsite shows just how cute they are in any color. Have fun...and remember...you still have a few days left!!
What cuter way to give a gift card than with this little knit "Card-igan". I found this at my new favorite blog http://www.simplynotable.com. She has several patterns that just adoreable and perfect for gifts! I was able to get this one finished in no time and not under the tree but "on" the tree!
