"Tiny Blossoms...."

Finally...after searching all over for a perfect crochet flower, I found two that I fell in love with.

This tiny bud was over at Little Abbee Patterns.  You can whip up a handful of these  in no time at all and depending on your hook size and yarn weight they can be as tiny or large as needed.  I made these with a G hook and Caron's Sheepish (worsted weight).  Approximate size is about 1.5" inches around.

Add one - or a bouquet - to a hat, headband, purse, hairclip...the possibilities are endless!

And now we'll skip over to blossom #2....

I totally fell in love after the first one....

added one sparkly little bead.....

I found this over at A Morning Cup of Jo Blogspot.  She has some of the sweetest little critter patterns around.  Check out the bunnies with this same flower tucked into one ear here.

In spite of the hot and dry weather...anyone can "pick" a handful of either of these little beauties.  Have fun adding these to your Summer projects.  Off to enjoy the Olympics now...go USA!
