Oh, yes....I needed some more "instant" satisfaction before I delve into a ripple afghan of my own. So here was my Sunday project. Pale blue yarn from my stash (think it's Bernat Satin?).
I modified this pattern by working on two needles (I am not a huge fan of double points or magic loop) and upped the yarn from a DK to a worsted. I love the look of a dense and close weave when knitting baby items.
Oh it is sooooo sweet.....
and such a perfect blue!
KLOVE radio station is asking for handmade knit hats to be distributed on a mission trip to Afghanistan the end of February. No one needed to convince me to start a few hats to send. You can find all the details here. This little blue boy hat will be off with several others in a week or so.
Now I have the bug...going to knit up another one! White with a flower perhaps!?
